Amy Williams is a Colorado native and a graduate of Colorado State University, receiving a bachelor's degree in Finance and Real Estate. Shortly after graduating, she married Mike, a Hayden native and University of Wyoming graduate, and moved to Wyoming. In 1993, after working in the Routt County Assessor's Office for several years, Amy was elected Assessor and held the office for 14 years. In 2006, Amy chose not to seek reelection in order to pursue other real estate related ventures. Joining Colorado Group Realty, was a great opportunity to work with an experienced company and apply her knowledge of the Yampa Valley. Amy also brings an agricultural background and an understanding of the responsibilities of land ownership thorugh her family farm; managing 3,000 acres in wheat, safflower and hay production. Additionally, Amy is a certified general appraiser with Nash-Johnson Associates, Inc. Amy and Mike are active in the Hayden community and are raising two boys, Jordan, 20, and Ben, 17.
